Introducing the newest member of the Cogo Labs family of companies, Tenizen!
Launched on January 1, 2015 and already profitable and growing, Tenizen is poised to radically alter and improve the apartment rental experience.
“Our goal is to take what is currently an unpleasant process for both tenants and landlords and improve the entire experience, from the listing of the apartment to the signing of the lease,” says CEO Jacob Silber. “The products we’re building will not only modernize the experience in ways that are long overdue, but transform and elevate it, not just for renters, but for rental agents and landlords as well.”
Being part of the Cogo Labs incubator has been an invaluable experience for Silber and his team. “The startup world can be very lonely. At Cogo Labs you’re both cooperating with and learning from other companies who are rushing to solve similar problems in different industries. It provides a motivation and comradery that’s often missing when you’re operating as a solo startup in a shared work space.”
Tenizen currently consists of 8 full-time and 2 part-time employees, and they’re looking to grow in a number of areas in the coming months, including analytics, software development, and business development.
“If you’ve ever rented an apartment than you know all too well what a frustrating process it can be,” Silber says. “If you’re excited about the potential for the apartment rentals market to be drastically improved, and want to be part of the team that’s going to make it happen, we’d love to hear from you.”
