Mira Wilczek, Cogo Labs’ Entrepreneur In Residence
Cogo Labs is pleased to announce Mira Wilczek as their very first Entrepreneur in Residence!
As Entrepreneur in Residence, Mira will be testing new business ideas, looking for emerging online markets where she can implement Cogo’s suite of algorithmic marketing tools in the creation of a compelling new startup company.
Before coming to Cogo, Mira was founder and CEO of Red Panda Security, a research consultancy specializing in mobile behavioral analytics. Mira holds an S.B. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, as well as an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
"Mira is our ideal entrepreneur and we are thrilled to have her here,” said Jonathan Shapiro, Cogo Labs’ CTO. “While Mira is testing new startup ideas and using the data to help her decide which is the best opportunity, her business acumen and past leadership experience can be leveraged across all the other startups currently under incubation here."
Mira says was drawn to Cogo Labs because of both their history of success and their unique process.
"Cogo is not a traditional incubator. The companies here are truly built from the inside out, each one learning from the successes and failures of the others. It’s a great environment for knowledge transfer and rapid iteration as I run experiments to sift through my ideas, building revenue streams and looking for the next big opportunity."
"Once she’s decided what she wants to focus on, Cogo will help Mira build the team that will allow her to implement her vision."
"We can’t wait to see what Mira creates here,” said Shapiro. “She has incredible engineering and analytical skills, as well as the on-the-ground business sense to actually build her idea and lead her team to success, once she’s uncovered where the next big opportunity lies."
